Data analysis and forecast
In this project, you will go through the process of calculating summary statistics, drawing any inferences from the statistics, calculating business metrics, and using models to forecast future growth prospects for the companies. The goal is for you to perform an analysis and also create visual tools to communicate the results in informative ways.
Phase 1:
After familiarizing yourself with the data set, identify the question that you will answer based on your data analysis of summary statistics and include this in your slide presentation.
- Clean the data using summary statistics.
- calculate summary statistics. These are the measures of central tendency (mean, median) and measures of spread (standard deviation, range) that you used to help analyze the data.
Phase 2:
- Create a tab with a dashboard for a Profit and Loss (P&L) statement that calculates the Gross Profit, Operating Profit, or EBIT for a company.
- The dashboard must be dynamic, meaning that there should be a drop-down list for ticker symbol selection that includes all companies from the data set.
- Your P&L statement should be updated with the historical data for all the years of the selected company in the drop-down list.
Phase 3:
- Create a tab with a dashboard for a financial model for a company (different from Task 2) of your choice that forecasts out the Gross Profit, Operating Profit, or EBIT for two more years using three scenarios.
- The forecasting model should include a drop-down list for selecting a Strong case, a Base case, and a Weak case. Making the results of the forecast years dynamic.
- Your assumptions for revenue growth, gross margin, and operating margin should change for each scenario.
- This dashboard, however, can be static for the chosen ticker symbol (no drop-down list for the ticker symbol is required).
Phase 4:
- Downloaded (PowerPoint)
- After completing the data analysis, I created my presentation using the attached template, sharing visual insights and summary statistics.
- In the Summary Information section, I explained the findings I reached based on my analysis, providing visual or numerical values related to my summary.

Using Power Pivot and Power bi, I was able to extract this dashboard after cleaning and preparing the data.

Showing the percentage of men and women of Breadwinner plays a major role in data analysis.

Determine the percentage in each country so that we can show another aspect in the analysis. Of course, there is a link between one graph and another.

The map there was a very good helper to clearly show the countries we specify in the analysis and through it we can also use a filter for the entire Dashboard.
